Rosemarie (Rosie) Gall, age 60, passed away on 8/2/2017. Rosie was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose Gall. Rosie loved her parents and cherished a collection of figurines her mother gave her. She had aunts and uncles who lived in Romania and Germany. Rosie worked at the Parma and Rocky River Activity Centers and had jobs at the Westlake Holiday Inn, McDonalds and River Copy &Mail. In 2003 she retired but kept busy attending Ageline in Cleveland and then Welcome House Community Center. She enjoyed staying active and spending time with her friends at the centers. In 1995 she moved to a group Home operated by Welcome House Inc. She was an important part of the Welcome House family for the next 22 years. Rosie was a take charge kind of person who would let everyone know how she wanted things to be. She was also a good friend to so many with a wicked sense of humor and a very caring heart. She was artistic, loved music and musicals and faithfully attended the Wednesday evening program at Christ the King Vineyard Church in North Olmsted as well as WH bowling league. She loved spending holidays with her friend Alex where she especially enjoyed playing with the dogs. She also liked travel, especially vacationing on the shore in Virginia Beach. Rosie's house mates, Jennifer and Cathy will miss spending time with her. Over the years she had many staff who were fond of her. Kristen, Becky, Heather, Tanesha, Daisy, Crinisha and Marlene all recently rallied around Rosie and helped her as she struggled with dementia. Their patience and gentle care was a testament to how much Rosie was loved. All who knew her will miss Rosie's sense of humor, beautiful smile and ability to make us feel good. Funeral Services will take place at 4 PM on Saturday August 12, 2017 at Holick Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd. Westlake, OH, where friends may share together on Saturday from 2 PM until the time of series at 4 PM. Interment West Park Cemetery. www.holickcraciunfuneralhome.com
